Mountain Trekking in Morocco
13 tours
Morocco’s mountains are best discovered on foot, with someone who calls them home. Our guided treks start in Marrakech and head into the High Atlas, where Jbel Toubkal rises to 4,167 m, the highest summit in North Africa. Choose a two- or three-day ascent with a night at the mountain refuge, a six-day circuit by Lac Ifni, or the eight-day traverse from Toubkal towards the M’Goun massif.
Further east, the Ait Bouguemez valley offers terraced fields and red-earth villages, while Jbel Siroua and Jbel Saghro reward you with volcanic peaks, wide plateaus and very few other walkers. Routes range from easy to challenging, and every trek can be adjusted to your fitness and the season. Your local guide handles the route, the logistics and the pace, so you can focus on the views and the people you meet along the way. Prices are on request.
