Day Trips from Marrakech

Only have a day? Some of Morocco’s finest scenery is within easy reach of Marrakech. Our day trips pick you up from your riad or hotel and bring you back in the evening, so all you need is comfortable shoes and a little curiosity.

Head into the High Atlas to Imlil for a village walk with views towards Toubkal, or follow the Ourika Valley, about 90 minutes from the city, to its waterfalls and riverside cafés. Watch the cascades of Ouzoud and look out for Barbary macaques, breathe the Atlantic air in the walled medina of Essaouira, or swap the city for camels and sand on a desert day. Each excursion runs with a local guide who knows the trails, the villages and the best place for lunch, and it can be adapted for families, slower walkers or keen hikers. Prices are on request.
